Appointments — Setup & FAQ
Track visits, procedures, telehealth, and more. Private to your Circle. No ads, no resale of data.
How it works (simple)
- Select the resident/client you’re scheduling for.
- Add the appointment: date, time (optional), type (e.g., doctor visit, procedure), provider, and location/telehealth.
- (Optional) Set in-app reminders. These show as local notifications in the browser/app.
- (Optional) Save the provider’s phone or connect an in-app channel to send “Running late” notices from the app.
- Save. You can edit, mark done, or reschedule later.
Where do I log things?
- Manual entry: open the Appointments screen and tap New appointment or edit an existing one.
- Running late: open the selected day, choose a quick reason, set ETA, and send an in-app notice to the provider (if a channel is connected).
- Reschedule: pick a new date/time and save; the calendar will note it as rescheduled.
- Provider messaging: in-app only (no SMS/calls). Phone numbers saved are for reference/copy only.

Privacy & safety tips
- Confirm dates/times with the facility/provider when needed.
- Limit notes to what’s operationally required.
- Follow your clinical and scheduling policy for changes and escalation.
- Use in-app notices for schedule changes; avoid sharing PHI in messages.
Troubleshooting
- Can’t save? Ensure date and (if needed) time are selected and required fields are filled.
- Reminders not firing? Check the browser/app notification permission and that a time was set.
- Provider not receiving late notice? Make sure a provider channel is connected; otherwise use the saved phone to call.
- Wrong timezone? Pick your timezone in the appointment drawer; it overrides device defaults for scheduling.
