Family Calendar — Setup & FAQ
The Calendar unifies appointments and home care tasks in one place, with quick templates, day-rail navigation, and status dots (upcoming, done, missed, rescheduled).
How it works (simple)
- Use the + Add button to create a Task or Appointment.
- Pick from templates or type custom titles; assign; set date/time and optional reminders.
- Day rail shows dots: blue (upcoming), green (done), red (missed), purple (rescheduled).
- Edit, Reschedule, Mark done, or Delete from each item’s actions.
Plan limits
- Free: local calendar, private to your device.
- Lite/Elite: (future) sync to your Circle and share with family.

- Task titles, assignment labels, date/time, reminders
- Appointment type, provider/location labels
- Status changes (done, missed, rescheduled)
What we never collect
- No keystrokes, browsing history, or passwords
- No microphone/camera recordings
- No advertising trackers; no data resale
Tips
- Use templates for speed; switch to “Unified” for detailed tasks.
- Missed flips automatically each minute; editing preserves current status.
- All-day events: leave time blank. Past-dated new items become missed.
Troubleshooting
- Dots don’t change? Keep the tab open; the minute-ticker updates statuses. Reload forces a recompute.
- Edits reset status? In the latest admin page, status is preserved when editing.
- 404 on Admin? Ensure the admin page exists at
/admin/calendar.
