Geofencing — Setup & FAQ
Geofencing alerts you when someone arrives or leaves a saved location. Data is private to your Circle.
How it works (simple)
- Pick the person's device (phone or tablet) that will trigger arrival/leaving alerts.
- Go to Admin → Geofencing.
- Create a zone (Home, School, Work, etc.).
- Allow location permission when running a Live Check on the family device.
- Alerts will notify when the device enters or exits the saved area.
Where does the location come from?
- Phone GPS (recommended) — best accuracy
- Wi-Fi / Network location (depends on device + environment)
- No external tracking companies. Data stays inside your Circle.
